I've heard this is a good way to get charms. Get low HP with dharoks and just go on a rampage after that with melee prayer. Can anyone tell me charms/hour on this? I would dharok waterfiends, but I'm trying to train defense while getting 96 summoning, and dharoks doesn't train defense on crush... sooooo.... Anyone help a brotha out? Thanks.

Well, I did a 1 hour test, and here are the results:

 

I was wearing full dharoks, fury, barrows gloves, soul wars cape, and zerker ring. I had on constant turmoil and was ext potted to 120 stats the entire time. Under 10hp.

 

After an hour, I got:

 

2 Blues, 72 Crimsons, 16 Greens, and 38 Golds. I also gained 80k Defense EXP.

 

 

It's good... But Dharok waterfiends is better and cheaper...

I imagine that it wouldn't be terribly different from bursting lobsters. Just bring Dharok's instead of magic armor. You'd also save inventory spaces from not having to bring runes.

I know I can last quite a bit with woul wars cape + war tort filled with prayer potions, but I want to know how many charms/hour I'll get and if I'll even hit the things with melee. I don't think anyone knows.... Might have to do an hour run.

I don't have any personal experience with this, but from what I've heard Rock Lobsters have insane melee defence. I think you'd be better off Dharoking WFs instead.

I always thought the thing that made Rock Lobsters even remotely worth it for charms was the fact that you're killing 9 of them at once. Wouldn't Dharoking them take that advantage away...?

 

I'd go back to Waterfiends if I were you! Unless you fancy Barraging :D
