Sparrowhawk's Book of Songs!

Featured Replies

These are songs I made up while I was doing agility.

"Huntin' in the Jungle"

(To the tune of "Home on the Range")

Oh give me a home

Where the chinchompas roam,

And the larupia and the kebbits play,

Where birds wander free,

'Til they're snared by me,

And I'm hunting in the jungle again...

Huntin', Huntin' in the jungle,

Where the larupia and the kebbits play,

Huntin', Huntin' in the jungle,

I might come out of the jungle someday...

"Stop! Here Be Penguins"

(To the tune of "Stop! In the Name of Love")

Stop! Here be Penguins,

Leave now unless you'd rather die...

(That one is unfinished, that's all I could think of for now)

More coming soon! Feel free to call out ideas and tunes!

Adventures in ChompyLand, Part I

----------------------------------------

Fred seized the toad, and attempted to pump it full of swamp gas. The toad resisted, struggling against the bellows. Fred persevered, until finally, with a satisfying phoomph! the toad inflated to several times its normal size, and flailed its stubby legs feebly. Fred carefully placed the toad on the ground, and felt a sudden urge to take one step to the west. Doing so, he pulled out his bow and notched an arrow to it. A Chompy Bird hopped out of the bush, and tried to eat the toad, which promptly exploded. Fred fired his arrow, and the Chompy Bird fell gracefully to the ground, where it dizzolved into feathers, bones, and Chompy Bird meat. Fred collected the items, buried the bones--and he felt sure that from somewhere above, a little sound of angelic chorus sang briefly--and proceeded to pump another toad with swamp gas. This time, he tied a bit of string to it, and attached the string to a rock. The bloated toad lifted into the air, and bobbed as a balloon...
