I need:-A person with the following equipment:Abyssal Whip (any color), Warrior's Helm, Dragon Platebody, Dragon Platelegs/Skirt, Dragonfire Shield, Fire Cape, Dragon Boots, Barrows Gloves, Warrior's Ring, Amulet of Fury Any suggestions will also be appreciated.~~~Green Dragons -- Level 79 [insert picture of Green Dragon] Green Dragons are among the easiest dragons to defeat. The only worthwhile drops are probably Grimy Irit, Green Dragonhide, Charms and of course, Dragon Bones. Any other drops shouldn't be picked up, as they clog up your inventory with useless items. Other items that can be picked up are Coins and anything higher than 1k GP. The best drop from these dragons would probably be Dragon Bones, but there might be better, such as key halves. Green Dragons do NOT drop visages or dragon armor. For more information about the drops, see the Green Dragon Bestiary pages. Other colored dragons, such as the Red, Blue, Black and King Black Dragon are excluded from this guide. There aren't many places where they are clumped together in a small area, and are much harder to defeat. 1. Why use a Dwarf Multicannon? Dwarf Multicannons use up a lot of GP, but it's worth the cannonballs. You can defeat dragons much quicker, and even when you're banking your loot! Green Dragons don't have much HP. Around three to five hits with a Dwarf Multicannon should be enough to defeat a Green Dragon. Remember, experience is halved with a Multicannon, but it can hit up to a 30 with one cannonball! I do NOT recommend meleeing these dragons; there are too many people and cannons in each world that you probably will take up 5-10 minutes per round. Also, NEVER USE ANCIENTS on these dragons. First, it costs around 2k per spell. Second, the recommended places are single combat.2. Suggested Equipment Using the Dwarf Multicannon:Headgear: Blessed Coif > Black Dragonhide Coif 100Body Armor: Black Dragonhide BodyLeg Armor: Black Dragonhide LegsWeapon: Runite CrossbowShield: Dragonfire Shield > Anti-Dragon ShieldBoots: Ranger BootsHand: Black Spiky VambracesBack Armor: Ava's Accumulator > Ava's AttractorAmulet: Amulet of RangingRing: Archer's Ring > Ring of WealthAmmunition*: Runite Bolts = Adamant Bolts *I would not reccomend poisoning the bolts, as you will be killing the dragons very quickly. You won't be using too much ammunition, so even Iron or Bronze Bolts will be enough. Inventory using the Multicannon:1x Cannon Base*1x Cannon Stand*1x Cannon Furnace*1x Cannon Barrels*1000+x Cannonball1x Games Necklace (8)**1x Antifire (4)1x Energy Potion (4)****Only on first round; you'll be keeping it up for a while.**This will degrade over time. Don't bother about banking it at (1); it's only around 1k.***If you use up the whole energy potion, drop the vial. If not, drop the potion at full inventory anyway. That's all you need! For safety against Revenants, you can take a Monkfish or two. Do NOT use sharks; they only restore 4 more than monkfish and are 1-2k each. Monkfishes restore 16, and are ~300gp each. No need for Prayer Potions; these almost never hit with melee. Do bring the Antifire though; with that and the dragonfire protection shield, you can get to 0% damage from the dragonfire. 3. Other Equipment/Inventory Information It is possible to use a Ring of Duelling to go to Castlewars, then use the Games Necklace back to Clan Wars, but that is not recommended unless you can't afford an Archers' Ring or Ring of Wealth Remember that you can only teleport in Level 1-20 Wilderness, so don't go setting your cannon somewhere in the 30's. It is possible that a Revenant can teleblock you. If you do get teleblocked, you should just walk back to the nearest bank. Don't bother waiting for the teleblock to wear off, unless you have an empty inventory. Keep your Energy Potion until you're on your last inventory space. Suggested Levels and Quests:Completed: Dwarf Cannon QuestLevel 60 DefenceLevel 70 RangedLevel 50 Magic*Level 45 Prayer**It is possible to defeat green dragons with 1 Magic and Prayer; those skills are just for revenants. 4. How Do I Get To Green Dragons? There are two recommended places for killing Green Dragons. First, reasons why you shouldn't use the other three listed in the Bestiary: Lava Maze and Demonic Ruins: These are too far from banks, so they are not recommended. Also, high level Revenants may kill you. Chaos Tunnels: This place is multicombat, so killing green dragons here is not advisable. In addition, you cannot bring a Dwarf Multicannon into the Tunnels. Now, you may be wondering how to get to the two recommended places. Here are the two areas: [insert Map 1 -- L13 Wildy]This place is in Level 13 Wilderness. It only has 3 dragons, but is less crowded than the below one. It isn't the best, since it is also rather far away from a bank or nearby teleportation zone. How to get there? If you're on Ancients, you can use the Edgeville Home Teleport and run northwest from Edgeville. For banking, you should use a Varrock Teleport Tablet or Games Necklace to the Wilderness Volcano. If you have enough GP, you can use the Skills Necklace and teleport yourself to the Cooking Guild, which is very close to the Grand Exchange. Then, you can use the Underwall Tunnel to get near Edgeville and then run northwest (after banking). Make sure you don't stop or walk very often. [insert Map 2 -- L20 Wildy] This place is the more populated place out of the two; it has around 10 green dragons. It ranges from Level 20 to Level 25 ilderness. I recommend being in Level 20 to 22 Wilderness, so you won't have to run farther to get to Level 20 Wilderness to teleport. You should use the Games Necklace to Wilderness Volcano (bank), then use it again to Clan Wars. At Clan Wars, go east until you hit where your cannon is. Use your Energy Potion on the way there! Make sure you don't stop or walk very often. 5. Initial Preparation Before going into the Green Dragons zone, drink one dose of antifire and one dose of a Ranging Potion (if ou have it). Prayer isn't needed here; the Dragons hit almost straight 0's. 6. General Guidelines Once you've set up your cannon, make sure you keep it firing. If your cannon has run out of ammo, you'll see a message in your chatbox. The cannon will also stop turning.[insert cannon out of ammo pic -- chatbox] When fighting Green Dragons, you don't really need to keep an eye on anything but the screen and the chatbox. If your Antifire Potion is about to run out or has already run out, you will see a warning in red text in your chatbox.The above image is from the Tip.it Iron/Steel Dragons guide. Make sure you know which cannon is yours! There might be a lot of cannons on one world, and it might get confusing. Make sure where your cannon is. 7. Conserving Inventory SpacePut Dragon Bones near the top of your "pickup list". Dragon Bones are around 4k GP each, while Green Dragonhide is only around 1k each. If you don't have enough inventory space and you see a really rare item, drop a Green Dragonhide. If you're sure that it is at least 5k GP, and your inventory is full of Dragon Bones, bury one! Do this espeacially if you get a Key Half or other rare item. Picking up runes and other stackable items is a very good way to conserve inventory space. Water Runes are dropped in piles of 75 each, so that's around 2800 GP right there! They're also stackable, and rather common. Coins can be dropped in piles of ~100 or ~40. Don't bother picking up coins unless there's at least 2k coins in your inventory. If you spot a stack of ~200 coins, and you have none in your inventory, don't bother picking it up! If you spot ten stacks of ~150, then go ahead; drop a Dragonhide and pick up those coins. Pick up all charms; you never know when you'll want to use them for Summoning. For some reason, Green Dragons drop Green Charms more often that any other color. Green Dragons have a rare chance of dropping Grimy Irit and Nature Talismans. Irits are ~3k each; Nature Talismans should be around 1.4k each, if not more. If you see one of these items, pick it up! Some random events have Deposit Boxes in them. These include the Gravedigger, Sandwich Lady and Evil Bob's Island. The Deposit Box in the Gravedigger random event is the Mausoleum behind Leo. In the Sandwich Lady random event, the deposit box is beside the table, in the far end of the room. At the Evil Bob's Island random event, the deposit box is near a statue (haven't gotten this random event in a long time, so I don't remember which statue). If you're sure you don't need the Energy Potion anymore, drop it! It's only ~500 GP, so why not pick up something worth 1-4k in exchange for a measly 500 GP? Same with the monkfish; they're only ~300 GP each. Bringing a familiar could work, but it would be hard to deposit items when you're in combat. Remember that you cannot attack with your familiar; the above two places are single combat. Do not bring excess items! Only bring the items listed in the Suggested Inventory section.8. Frequently Asked Questions Q: Why use that armour? Why not Karil's?A: The Black Dragonhide body and legs give the same Ranged Bonus as Karil's top and chaps. Also, the Blessed Coif gives +6 while Karil's coif gives +3 ranged bonus. In addition, the Runite Crossbow gives +90, while the Karil's Crossbow gives +84. You won't be using too much ammunition, so that won't matter. Q: Do I have to use the cannon?A: Of course not! You can melee Green Dragons, but there are so many cannons that you would have a hard time looking for a target.
