March 18, 201016 yr EDIT: Decided battle robe sets are pointless due to the unbuyability and also the recharge time needed at FoG, especially because i suck at FoG lol, so i now have one question If i were to simply use a SoL during barraging rock lobsters, How much percentage of runes would i save?
March 18, 201016 yr Hey,, I've got a few questions about this as i am considering getting 96 summ which requires me obtainign 10k crims. Hence i thought why not barrage lobs with battle robe set and SoL. How long does this set last? If you could specify in the number of barrages it lasts for it would be of a great help.Is it best just to get a battle robe set through buying due to its high amount of FoG tickets needed, then recharging it? If so how long does it take to get the amount of FoG tickets you need to recharge it. Finally, i have a royal crown, what would be a good trade for battle robes, should i trade 1 crown for an entire battle robe set, or more? Thanks. EDIT: Also, if i were to simply use a SoL during barraging rock lobsters, How much percentage of runes would i save? The set lasts for 6 hours in combat, don't know how many barrages that is, and yes how I did it actually. It doesn't take more then a couple of hours to get the amount of tokens needed to recharge(again personal experience) As for trading things for it, recently people have been trading implings themselves for parts of the set, but if you wanted more accurate assumptions just head on to world two and look for them. As for for the amount of runes saved itself with the sol I do not know :s
March 18, 201016 yr Author Edited post, just want to know the percentage of runes saved whilst using SoL with regular gear, e.g ahrims whilst barraging
March 18, 201016 yr 12.5% If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.
March 18, 201016 yr The staff also has a special rune-saving ability; while wielded, there is a 1/8 (12.5%) chance that any combat spell cast with this staff will not use up any runes. The rune-saving effect can be combined with a full set of Combat robes, improving the chance to 1/5 (20%). Battle robes can also be used, for a 1/2 (50%) chance of saving runes. Any time the staff does not save the player runes, the robes themselves will still have their usual chance of saving the player any mind, chaos, death or blood runes used by the combat spell the player is casting. This effectively causes 65% of the runes to be saved with Battle robes and 23.5% of the runes to be saved while wearing Combat robes.
