Featured Replies

I was just wondering what the best f2p mage armor outside of FoG robes are, and if its worthit undertaking 50 runecrafting to get those robes?

Well you pretty much answered yourself;

Best Mage Robes are FoG ones - the recharge on them is a pain if you don't like the mini-game - this is why I don't bother.

Second best are RC ones - personally I love RC'ing so when i got lvl 50 i head over to the guild and got the robes so this is what I use :)

Lastly the usual wizard robe, wizard hat and some sort of bottoms is the only other option - probably the one you want if you dont want to invest time and money on 50 RC.

Don't forget you can use the runes you RC to level your mage level/ get you some profit.

A dragonfire shield/ no shield is the best for the shield slot.

Hope this helps :)

Thanks, I just wanted to be sure about if the runecrafting work was worth it.
