May 4, 201016 yr Ok, so At 99 defence with my current slayer setup im not gettting hit very often so i was wondering if it would be better to get D claws over buying my fury back because im not really seeing much of a use out of the extra defence. Current Setup: Slayer helmGloryGuthans PlateGuthans SkirtDragon BootsBarrows GlovesDefence Cape(t)WhipRune Def / Obby ShieldWarrior Ring (will make this (i) once i get 90 attack and 85 slayer *note* Please dont tell me to buy bandos or sell my guthans for veracs skirt / torags as i use my full guthans set fairly often and i cba to spend extra money for a slight pray boost from the v skirt.

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).
May 4, 201016 yr Author yea thats the question. I thought so though but i wasnt sure if claws are still more effective without spec restores and seeing as i only have 45m i cant afford the herb lvll
May 4, 201016 yr Claws are still good without spec rests. However, if you really think about it. Neither is really an outstanding option for slayer. The spec bar is probably better spent on EE or SGS, and if you need damage, DDS is 35m or so cheaper. Fury isn't that great either, since in very few places will you actually need that defense. Not even at Mithril Dragons (since 1 invent = ~5-10 dragons, depending on level). Only places where I can see any benefit of the fury are Spiritual Mages (prayer bonus), Scarabites (cannoning, for defense and prayer), and Skele Wyverns if you don't have a uni or a yak. ~It's Super Effective! May 4, 201016 yr Author hmm ok well any suggestions on how i can better my setup without changing my plate and legs perferably? i guess i can make a 17th attempt at my fire cape even tho i've failed all the first ones. What about TD setups without void as i accidently died with it recently and didnt make it back to my grave in time because of lag.
