Does anyone know a good, updated DK guide? I've searched around but all the ones i can find are from around two years ago and haven't been updated. Mainly looking for a Rex guide but it would be nice to have one for all of the kings.

 

Also: What is the cc for rock lob partners to open doors? I know its something to do with rock lobster or some such name.

NVM found it. I'll look for loosing game's guide as well.

There's a good guide by Losing Games. I think it's in beginning guides or general guides. It's very up to date, but pretty elite.

I'm sure oscar wouldn't mind if i copy it over for those who have no interest in SODB.

 

 

What is Multibriding you say?

 

Multibriding is when you kill supreme and rex while using the curse deflect magic while prime is on you.

Deflect mage will kill prime rather effectively over time.

 

Basically what happens is:

- You enter the lair with deflect mage on and kill supreme.

- Once supreme is dead, you switch to your staff and lure rex into the southeast corner of the lair and kill him with fire surge.

- When rex is dead, switch to your whip, or other melee weapon, switch on turmoil, and go kill supreme again.

- After supreme is dead, equip your rune c'bow and attack prime while you wait for rex to spawn.

- Once rex spawns, relure him and repeat.

 

Yak is essential for doing this, however, overloads are not.

Yak allows you to bank all the bones and hides that are dropped, allowing for profit no matter what.

 

Some additional information:

- When prime dies, this gives you a chance to soul split rex to recover some hp.

- Between rex and supreme spawns, you can exit the lair and reenter to sneak past prime.

The goal of these setups is to get as high of range defense as possible with a good amount of prayer (since you pray the entire time).

 

I bring about 1k Fire Surges because I will use anywhere from 500-800 casts.

Try to get about a 1k+ population world.

Bandos chestplate > Torag's plate > Verac's brassy

Bandos tassets > Verac's plateskirt > Torag's legs

Divine/Elysian > DFS > Obby shield/Granite shield > Blessed spirit shield > Dragon Sq Shield > Rune defender > Unholy book

- Cape

Soul Wars cape > Skill cape (t) > Ardougne cape 3 > Fire cape

- Boots

Infinity boots > Dragon boots

- Gloves

Barrows gloves > Dragon gloves > Dragon gauntlets

- Ring

- MA rings

Onyx ring (i) > Archer's ring (i) > Dragonstone ring (i) > Berserker ring (i)

- Rings for those of us who don't like MA

Archer's ring > Berserker ring > Ring of Life > Ring of Wealth

- Amulet

Fury > Arcane stream (swap amulets for rex) > Glory

- Weapons

- Melee

Chaotic longsword > Chaotic rapier > Whip

(Do not use Balmung; you lose too much range defense from lack of a shield)

Chaotic staff > Staff of Light > Master wand > Ancient staff

- Range

Rune c'bow with rune bolts > broad bolts
