i have made this sig, i dont think it is that bad, do u? but i cant seem to make the background look good... please can anybody give me any tips?

try starting off with a horizontal line to show distinction between ground n mountains

This one has changed alot since I last saw it, dont draw a horizontal line, make te mountains a diff color. At the base of the mountains put 1 line of dark brown across it (dont make it straiight make it curved and jagged). then get a litle darker of a brown and make one line of still dark but lighter dark brown
