I started this game a few months after runescape was created, I played for a few weeks and I really didn't like being pk'd by anybody and everybody. I started PK by choice and then switched to non-pk. I still suck at PK but I sure do love skilling. I had reached 99 cooking using certificates at draynor making a nice profit with my cooking gauntlets, but taking forever. I also cared more about minimum level in all skills. At first it was 30, then I went to 40 and 50. When I came back last year after a multi-year break I had to train construction, hunter, slayer, farming all to 50.

Since taking another 18 month break I returned to play once again, each time I find that the game gets easier and easier. Before you had to worry about not clicking fast enough, now there's cook-x. Fletching, herblore are all faster. I decided to train farming after I saw the money potential. I recently got 73 farming from 50 in less than a month using mostly herbs and trees only on xp weekend. I recently got 60-70 smithing just for the hell of it using iron knives (which really doesn't take that long).

I had planned of making my goals 60 in everything, but realized shortly that was too simple. I upped it to 65. I spent 4 days getting 54->65 RC which put some easier ones into perspective. I got 65 thieving in a day. Then bumped it up to 76 theiving (using pp) in 4 more days, so I'll get 80 theiving now.

That means:

Dungeoneering is the one skill that doesn't work with my schedule, being full time employed with a commitment to my spouse it means I'll be playing and have to stop at any time. Which is dissapointing after getting to a boss and having to log out.

My ultimate goal is to finish WGS. I require 100 qp, and many many quests.

I managed to play more this week than I thought I would. (Doesn't that always happen) I got bored of using a scimitar on steel drags, so I went ahead and trained 2 attack levels, and now I'm 100k from the third one. I also got a constitution level.

My goal this week involves runecrafting. After I get 65 slayer I'll finish the rest of my charms and then take a break from summoning for a while.

I played way too much this week. I started off finishing 65 RC, which by the way, is a horrible skill. I don't want to train it anymore. But I'll need to sometime soon. i did make a nice 1.9mil. Decided to do some pyramids plunder for a nice easy one. Went from 61-65 in a day. Decided to go for 80. Averaged 2-3 levels for the last 4 days. I hope to be 80 thieving tomorrow.

It was very nice getting 61 summoning, I'm debating using the money I have to burst rock lobs. Since I already got 65 slayer. I need 500 charms to get there, so who knows?

I'm trying to find a nice way to get 65 crafting that involves gems that are easy to get, makes some money or looses less than 300k for 65. That isn't battlestaves. That doesn't require more than 7mil upfront cost. Looking at ruby amulets.
