an idea about the d platebody/kite/full helm

i was thinking, what if, after you get a d chain/med/square, if you could do a really hard quest to get that armor changed into a d plate/full helm/kite?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

these would have better stats, but would be untradable

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

you could also go back to the person where you got it changed from the first place, and have it changed back to where you could sell it again.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i just dont think that there should be a separate d platebody because its already really hard to get.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

there also should be no d full helm unless it was 10x harder to get.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and there should be no separate d kite because it is a special piece of armor that you need two pieces that are hard to get. and completing it is hard.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

making separate dragon armor would drastically lower the prices of armor that is already quite high and hard to get.

Of course it's hard to get. It's the one of the best armour sets in the whole game. Letting you change the armour set under it into the better set would either make the lesser armour set worth more or make the better armour set worth less.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You want d plate/full/kite? Go buy it. Sell your lesser dragon armour if necessary.

Personally, I hope dragon doesn't get a "full" set of armour like this. However, that's a pretty interesting and unique way to get it. I like the idea of an upgrade, only if you do a hard quest.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If it was going to be done, something similar to this would be worth considering.

i would actually prefer to just have it stay chain/med/sq just because of the uniqueness of it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

but im thinking of this as a sort of compromise between the people who want kite/full helm/plate and people like me
