The Void Stares Back

Good evening fellow 'Scapers.

 

I come to request an additional tactic to be added to the boss fight in the "Void Stares Back" quest.

After trying the tactic currently mentioned on the quest guide, while effective i found it a little harder to do. So i looked up other tactics and found a very good one other people may like to use.

NOTE: i used this tactic once and won the fight with 2 super restores (4) and 10 rocktails left.

 

Suggested Equipment:

Verac's Helm

Fury

Bandos Chestplate

Bandos Tassets

Dragonfire Shield

Barrows Gloves

Dragon Boots

Ring Of Life

And Korasi's Sword

 

Suggested inventory:

1 quick teleport (teletab to falador i used)

5 super restores (4)

200 Ambush Scrolls (although i only used 102 in the entire fight, i got lucky with some attacks)

20 Rocktails

1 Spirit Kyatt Pouch

 

IMPORTANT!: For this tactic to work effectively 70 prayer AND Piety are required!

 

Tactic:

Make sure you set your summoning icon to "Cast" with a left click as you'll be spam clicking it most of the fight. Enter the fight with your Kyatt summoned and attack the queen while praying protect from mage and using Piety (As you have low magic defence use mage protect for the entire fight, her melee attack really isn't that strong) Attack the queen as normal, and spam click the Cast Ambush button. When the defiler comes HIT HIM ONLY ONCE and run to the other side of the queen to continue attacking her, he will not be able to attack you but his attention will be on you for the whole fight, when another Defiler comes hit him once and continue attacking the queen, because you have such high ranged defence you will barely get hit by the defilers, and they won't be attacking your archers. Keep an eye on your prayer and use super restores when necessary.

 

IMPORTANT!: While you are not healing, attacking defilers or using Korasi Sword spec on the queen be clicking your Cast Ambush button constantly. If your familiar runs out of special just attack the queen normally for a little while, then continue spam clicking, or you can drink a super restore to restore some of your familiars special bar.

 

You will notice she dies very quickly if you're spamming the Ambush button as your familiar will be hitting 200-300 alot of the time.

 

 

 

Anyway, thats my tactic, try it out, it worked for me, hope you like it!

However, as a note, super restores don't restore the familiar's special bar - only the summoning potion does.
