Nomad Requim final boss fight

Featured Replies

So i have read the guide on Nomad Requim for the final boss fight. It is helpful, but it doesnt tell you everything you need to know. First of all, if you have a beast of burden, when you die anything on your beast will be lost. I did not know this at first and when i died lost several sara brews and super restores. What i did to finally beat Nomad was i used enchanted ruby bolts to get Nomad just under half health, then i switched over to enchanted diamond bolts to get him to quarter health. After he recharges his health back to half i switched back to blood bolts just to try and drain him a little below half health and then switched back to enchanted diamond bolts. This seemed to work really well for me and i have used this technique both on my account and a friends account to defeat Nomad. When you get nomad down to a quarter health the second time he will begin to attack you with melee. This is stated in the guide, however, they do not tell you that if he cannot attack you he will call you a coward and recharge his health even if you are attacking him. So what you need to do is keep him trapped by a pillar, run up and allow him to hit you one or two times then run 1 square back, just out of his range to hit you, and shoot him twice with your rune cross bow using the enchanted diamond bolts. Continue to use this tactic until he is dead. Just remember to allow him to hit you about every 4-5 seconds or he will call you a coward and recharge to full health. If you need to recharge your health only sip about 2 doses before you go back and let him hit you. The prayers i used was protect from magic and eagle eye prayer at the same time. I used this the entire time i fought him until he began the melee atacking. At that time i switch over to to protect from melee (which helps alot) and eagle eye prayers. I had a tortoise to hold 12 sara brews, 4 super restores, my addy bolts and a bunyip (just to help with a little extra health boost). My inventory included 15 sara brews, 5 super restores, 2 range potions, a melee weapon (didnt use at all), and 5 rocktail. My equiped items were: rune cross bow, enchanted ruby bolts, black drag body, guthan or dhoraks legs, dragon boots, helm of neitznot, strength cape (t), barrows style gloves, rune kitesheild, and glory amulet. If you have a peice of armor better than one of those i would advise using that instead.

When i did this quest my Range was 86 and hp 97 with 92 def. My friends account had 79 range, 96 hp, and 92 def. These are the stats i think really come into play so they are the only ones i posted. If you want to see more of my stats just look me up: Bowron86

Yeah, the use of Ruby bolt (e) really helps, I was using them for the whole time during the fight, but instead of bunyip pouch I would recommend use of Spirit Kyatt pouch (level 57 summoning required) and its special scrolls as I did, it helps a lot, there are some videos on youtube confiirming this.
