GodTrickstar
Hey, so I am running out of computer space because of music, i have music everywhere on my computer in different folders it is not organized at all! i don't want to go through it all because their is at least 12000 of them scattered everywhere and their mostly duplicates tooand their is a bunch of files that will look like this 01_Songs_name_artist_w/e I feel like deleting it all but my mom would freak out! because it is all her music she collected for the past i don't know how long.. can someone give me a solution that can help me fix this? i organized the itunes library so that's out of the question, because it was a complete waste of my time.. Guy
Moving around the files won't make much of a difference, but deleting duplicates will. Check for duplicate songs in iTunes and delete one of them. You could always buy a new hard drive if your problem is with space. They're pretty cheap nowadays. How big is your current one? You can get a terabyte hard drive for as low as US$55, and just stick all of your music on there. I might just be a organisational freak, but life is a lot easier if all similar files (ie. music, video, programs etc) are in the same place. At least, I think your problem is with organising music and also hard drive space. Could you be more specific, it's quite hard to see what you're trying to ask?
