Maybe an addition to the current guide, no "bonus" rewards are given upon completion of the house statue (and thank god it didn't explode again =]):

It also comes with an Adventurer's Log entry titled: "I built the statue of Dahmaroc in my house."

Each time I rebuilt the statue of Dahmaroc in Varrock Museum, the archaeologists granted me a replica piece. It was a lot of work, but today I completed my own statue at home.
