1. Introduction

Hey, I'm TrueBeaver. I've been scaping since my friends got me started in February 2002. I've taken many breaks since then but I always end up back. The account I started on got locked in 2006 and I started this one in November 2007. Since almost the beginning I've enjoyed skilling, questing, and clanning and have continued that up to this day. I'm currently in Red Blade Hunters and have been in a couple clans before that on both my accounts. and In real life I'm an economics student, 20 years old. I like politics, sports, and getting obliterated drunk, but I enjoy no lifing RuneScape the best.

2. History

I've accomplished a lot before deciding to post this topic. Some of the highlights are below:

Earned Quest Cape - August 7, 2009

Saradomin Hilt split - September 14, 2010

2,000 Total - October 1, 2010

99 Woodcutting - October 19, 2010

16m Zamorak Trip (1 trio hilt, 1 duo hilt, 1 duo spear) - November 4, 2010

85 Agility - November 30, 2010

3. Goals

Onto the good stuff. Essentially I have three overarching goals:

1. Maintain my Quest Cape

2. Unlock the Taskmaster Emote

3. Become self-reliant for effigies

while maintaining lower than 55% combat percentage. Preferably under 50.

As of posting this I am 48.99%.

3.1 Quest Cape

Pretty self-explanatory, I do quests as they are released.

Latest quests:

Elemental Workshop 4

3.2 Taskmaster

This goal is a bit tougher.

Overview: 21 tasks remaining.

These are the requirements and my stats as of posting this topic:

diaryreqs.pngstatsmarch132011.png

I have completed: Attack, Strength, Defense, Range, Magic, Construction, Combat, Hitpoints, Thieving*, Crafting, Fletching, Hunter, Quest Points, Cooking*, Woodcutting and Farming.

* denotes a skill I used a boost to complete

This leaves:

-95 Prayer

-91 Runecrafting

-90 Agillity

-92 Herblaw

-93 Slayer

-91 Smithing

-96 Fishing

-92 Firemaking

-95 Summoning

I'm a fairly poor person in RuneScape, always have been, which makes 95 prayer, 92 herblaw, and 95 summoning especially hard. I'm hoping 91 runecrafting and 93 slayer will pay for most of the other buyables.

3.3 Effigies

I have a general disdain for people and particularly don't like to depend on them for anything. This explains why my dungeoneering is so low and has also led to this goal. As I'm sure you know, each effigy has two possible skills you can use to complete it. These skills are:

3.3.1 Crafting, Agility

Current closest: Crafting level 87

3.3.2 Construction, Thieving

Current closest: Thieving level 80

3.3.3 Cooking, Firemaking

Current closest: Cooking level 92

3.3.4 Farming, Fishing

Current closest: Fishing level 88

3.3.5 Fletching, Woodcutting

3.3.6 Herblaw, Hunter

Current closest: Herblaw level 87

3.3.7 Smithing, Mining

Current closest: Smithing level 85

3.3.8 Runecrafting, Summoning

Current closest: Runecrafting level 76

Italics indicate the stat I am most likely to get 97 in.

Bold indicates a stat I have 97 in.

Strikethrough indicates an effigy set I am self-sufficient for.

A lot of those levels will come with the diaries: Cooking, Fishing, Summoning, etc. For the rest, I like stats that I can afk to talk in IRC among other activities and that are fast, hence 99 woodcutting. Given this I've italicized the stats I am likely to get 97 in first, except for Herblaw/Hunter since I'm too poor for Herblaw and I loathe Hunter. It's too soon to tell for that set.

4. Bossing

A lot of my goals require a substantial cash pile and bossing is my main source of income as well as an activity I think is actually pretty fun. My favorites are Saradomin, Zamorak, and Dag Kings. I will post drop logs here:

5. Latest News

As I level up and whatnot I'll post here.

That's about it for now, there's no telling when I'll update this. If you have any suggestions for me to improve this, go for it.
