I was wondering what type of weapons are best to use in melee in dungeoneering.

for example a spear, rapier, 2-h sword, etc.

 

ive been using spear for the stab attacks. however there is no accurate or aggresive stance for the ring buffs. so wasnt sure if I should switch.

Spear if your not using berserker ring setting

 

2h if you are using berserker ring setting

 

i think people use Rapier/LS/B-Axe when keying but dont quote me on that.

but to continue it. im doing it in a group and highest combat lvl. im mostly the dps. so as the main dps should I change?

for the highest DPS i would go with the highest 2h you can use combined with the Berzerker ring setting, but if you dont use the berserker ring the highest spear you can use also works but make sure it's p++ for the highest damage totals possible.

 

 

I cant really answer the keying question because tbh im not really sure myself but i know it has to do with 1 person in your team dedicating themselves to opening key door while the others do the combat and skill doors.

Get the best 2h you can and upgrade your ring to t5 zerker immediately, and I strongly encourage that you get at least t7 zerker as soon as possible.
