My real life name is Zach. I am a worker at my local humane society, working to rescue cats and dogs. I help steer unwanted behavior to get more animals adopted. When I am not doing that, or writing, I am usually playing Runescape. My name on Runescape is "Shark R Fish" inspired by my penchant for fishing on Runescape. I avidly worked towards 99 fishing when I first started and ended up with 99 in less than a month. I then went on to obtain 22m total exp in fishing. I went on a long break after hitting the 22m threshold. When I came back, I achieved 99 mining in under a month. Now I am working on smithing.

I just reached 89 Smithing! I am superheating gold bars w/gold gauntlets. I am getting about 70-80k smithing exp per hour. Right now the estimated cost to reach 99 smithing with superheating, is about 15m. I just sold some of my gold bars, leaving 5m left to complete this goal.

Thank you for responding. Have been busy smithing. Instead of actually smelting the bars, I have decided to superheat them. I am going to go for 99 magic too. Right now, I am going to regular smelt about 10k more bars so that I can afford the nature runes to do the last 100k-150k bars. I might be short 5m, so I might have to do a bit of skilling - probably fishing sharks if I have to.

 

I added one picture of me getting the highest experience of the day on Runetrack and I will eventually add a few level up pictures that I snapped a while back. And upcoming ones.

So I have gotten 99 smithing, 92 magic and 99 prayer from all the money I got fishing sharks and monkfish to 99 and past 99 on rocktails.

 

I have about 120m left. I don't do much combat anymore, so I thought about going for 99 construction (spending around 30-50m if I use sc hammers and around 70-90 without) then I would get 99 agility (currently 88). Then perhaps get the rest of the non buyables such as Woodcutting. Then I would go back to fishing Rocktails for a while since I am at about 23m experience. I really want to get up to at least 50m fishing experience.

 

in short, I just want another awesome buyable before I do all the boring non buyable skills. I would have 40-50m left over to use on glories and essence, graahks or whatever. 50m fishing experience won't come fast either.

 

Would you say it is stupid to spend that much money on 99 construction? I wanted herblore to begin with but realize I could not afford it. Herblore is very expensive. Prayer was too, and I could not have achieved that without all the fish I've saved up and the good sell back price I got from my friend on my gold bars (I was lucky to have a friend that needed them).
