[Video] Tags For Video Guides

Featured Replies

Recently the moderating team has noticed an influx of video based guides which are becoming increasingly more popular. However, people often have a strong preference and really like or dislike video guides. In order to distinguish these guides from text based ones a [Video] tag system will be implemented into the titles of guides. By marking video guides with a [Video] tag in the title, this will allow users to locate the type of medium they want to use faster and more efficiently. We hope this will allow guide creators to better reach their target audience and make the Archive of Wisdom and it's subforums easier for everyone to use.

Example of the new tag system:

[Video] How to defeat Nomad in 5 easy steps
** This is what the title would look like for a video guideHow to defeat Nomad in 5 easy steps
** Normal text guides don't need a tag
The moderating team will try and go through many of the most recent guides and add the tag where needed to make this transition easier for everyone. If by chance a guide is missing a tag, just use the report feature to let us know.

We would greatly appreciate if it any future video guide authors would add their own tags to the beginning of their topic title.

Thanks for your cooperation :).
