yarg this is driving me insane. i either shade to extreme or to bold. well heres one and heres the other please tell me which one you like more and what to fix

I hardly notice any shading on the first one....It doesn't matter what you did when you zoom in, what matters is what it looks like on actual size.

And there is not point drawing it when you don't even pay any attention to fold lines..I am pretty sure you have curtains, look at it to get some inspiration on how to draw fold lines...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

when you put a light source in there and know where the shadow should go. It should be fine. If you don't get it, observe the shadow carefully. It is not that hard...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and pick some more different tone of green. don't use green that can hardly tell from one to the others..if you can see it easily when you zoom in. very less likely you can see it on actual size.
