Since the wizard tower update the clue "Probably filled with wizards' socks" now leads to a cupboard on the third floor of the tower ( the same floor as Sedridor ). When you try to open the cupboard it still says it's locked & "one of the wizard must have the key". The wizards are no longer attackable. Kill a spellwisp outside the tower instead & the will drop the key.
