Hello. I am at the final part of the Family Crest quest where I fight Chronozon. I have level 59 magic for the correct spells, but none of them will hit him at all?

 

I have went back twice so far even took death runes with me to see if they were actually needed for the quest, but they did not get used for the spells.

 

Is this quest only doable in EoC? I use legacy.

Are you hitting him with each of the four elemental spells?  Just reading the Wiki page here and thought that might be a potential hang-up.

Yes, I have tried all four spells and none of them will hit him at all. I mean like twenty tries with each spell.

You're getting the "Chronozon weakens" chatbox messages too or no?  If not the next thing I would try is turning on EoC.  It's possible that there is a bug.

No, no messages about him weakening and the spells just splash against him and show no damage at all.

 

I will try it in EoC and post back here if it works or not.

It looks like it only works in EoC for now. Someone may want to add that into the walkthrough.

Okay, thanks for the info.  You might want to report that as a glitch to Jagex as well, so they can look into it.
