I used to use SK, but I recently had to switch computers and this one is more advanced and I am not sure why it isn't working. The message I get when I try to start it is;

Critical error while checking for updates. Update process aborted, if this continues please let us know on the forums.

When you start swiftkit it will spit out debug information to debug.txt in your swiftkit directory. (default C;\program files\swiftkit)

Open debug.txt copy the entire contents and paste them on the forums for the staff to help you.
