Arceus
Today we're pleased to release our basic guide for the Invention skill. Although it is a bit overdue, we weren't able to invent a time machine, so we figured better late than never.Today's guide consists of the basics for the Invention skill - how to train and how to get started and not so much focus on all the technical aspects. Given the current resources of Crew, we decided that this would be best to release for now.We are, however, open to the future possibility of making one or more subpages delving into more detail for certain aspects of the Invention skill, akin to Dungeoneering. This is where you and the Tip.It community come in. If you enjoying gathering data and researching things, we welcome your help in gathering information to expand the information we have available. Some examples might be:-the best combinations of perks whether for a tool or full set of armour-ways and chance of success to obtain these perks from certain setups-the rate of draining from your charge back under various conditions-chances to get certain components from items-etc.Please be advised that publication of more subpages on Invention is contingent on us having suitably complete information on a topic. This will depend on the strength and volume of the response from the community. While we will certainly credit anyone who contributes to this effort at the appropriate time, we cannot guarantee that everything submitted will be published. Before investing an extensive amount of time or money in research, it would be prudent to send a pm to myself or one of the Crew to see where things stand in this regard. In the event that you are an Invention superfan and wish to help out further, we are also open to bringing someone on board to help specifically with Invention-related tasks. Duties would include things such as testing perks and setups as needed and updating item and combat setup information appropriately. If you are interested, please send me a private message so we can discuss your skills and interests BEFORE submitting a formal Crew application. Thanks as always~Tip.It Crew "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for."
