Okay i don't know if this is the right place but whenever I go onto Runecape and I try to play the game th emouse get's slow and the game takes for ever to load, however when I take the mouse off the screen (runecape game screen) it goes back to normal and the game loads fine but I can't play because it requires to put the mouse on the screen. Can any one please help me?

Does playing in low detail make any difference?

 

 

 

Does your mouse handle OK for other Java applets?

nope when I do low detail it does same thing and i tried the other applets, nothing seems to work.

That's very strange. Is your computer doing anything else out of the ordinary? Taking it's time loading up documents or anything like that?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

How much RAM have you got in your system?

um.. no it's not doing anything out of the ordinary and I have 1000MHz and 512 MB of ram.

I tried using Internet Explorer but that still doesn't work, I normally used MSN explorer and at one time it did work on this computer (this computer is fairly new if I havn't told you already)

Defrag your drive, see if that helps. Also check your processes, see where everything is going. If it's just started then you might have an unwanted guest or a HDD issue. Dump IE for a start :P

yes I'm using windows XP pro. I defragged it, but how do I dump IE?

i got it to work for a little while on MSN explorer, I unplugged my laptop plugged it back in and hooked up a regular mouse to it and I turned it on and it worked, I tried it again and it doesn't work anymore.
