My new speakers

Featured Replies

I recently got a new computer. The speakers that came with it were pretty bad so I decided to buy some new ones. I purchased a Cyber Acoustics 3 piece set of speakers and a woofer.

My problem is that I've only got sound coming out of the sub woofer. The system is rather easy to install so there must be something wrong with my settings. I'm running an Acer Aspire T135.

The problem with the gene pool is that there's no lifeguard.

Usually you have an amp and then all the various speakers plug into that. Often the amp is inside the subwoofer or one of the speakers. It sounds to me as though you've not correctly plugged the speakers together.

The woofer connects to the main speaker.

The main speaker connects to the other one with a branch off audio output.

The main speaker also connects via a 9V AC adapter.

I'm getting the powerlight to come on my speaker and I can adjust the volume with it. Some of my settings are screwy and I'm not sure what to do.
