Pirate Bone Treasure

I posted this on tales from the tavern on runescape :cry: but it didnt go onto there so .. i decided to post it on tip.it forum ..

Pirate bone treasure by fire~spark

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It all starts when a boy named Timmy meets the twisted evil pirate by Port Sarim, " I, you'd be lookin' for treasure ? "

 

 

 

" Er .. yes mr.? " said Timmy in an exited voice.

 

 

 

" Arr, ther'd be no needin' to know me name " grunted the pirate. " All you'd need is this " the pirate passes Timmy a tattered old map.

 

 

 

" Cool " Timmy said in a squeeky voice.

 

 

 

" This map shows you whatever dangerouse is lurking, with yellow dots, whatever item there is , with red dot , and where you are , small white square".

 

 

 

Timmy goes to walk off but the pirate grabs him by the shoulder, "BUT remember half of the gold is mine" the pirate stares at the boy as he leaves , with an evil yellow toothy grin.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Timmy went home, packed his bag with some of the bannanas his mom had ordered from Karamja Island, an apple pie she had made and some chocolate incase he got hungry on his journey. He left the house, it was a beautifull day in Varrock and he longed to play with the other kids but his greed of gold took over. He had not told his mom he was going, because he thought she wont be back before hes back - it takes a long time to make rune essence into runes. He pulled the tattered old map out of his pocket and began to sear for his dot, right by the waterfall in Varrock - he found it. There was a pink line leading to a red X, Timmy thought that the line must be the route. He followed it with his finger to find it led into the wilderness ! he had lots of armour, a rune sword and lots of food so that reassured him a little.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

He went east across the road, then north past the combat training area and the alter. He saw the wilderness its dead treese looked menacing but he plucked up the courage to go into there. He kept going north , went past the Chaos Temple. He was at the Bone yard, a couple of steps infront of him was the X. Timmy just realised that he hadnt brought a spade, he smacked himself " Im so stupid !!!" :x he moaned. He looked around desperatly for any sign of digging equipment; He saw a branch that had a wide scoop shaped branch at the end and Timmy grabbed it; Started to dig.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Eventually he heard a clunk as the branch hit the top of a treasure chest , "GREAT!" Timmy screamed he opened it, but in split seccond he was being sucked into it "AHHHhhhhhh-" :o Timmy's voice faded away. But he wasnt dead,no, he was in a room piled high with bones; Some were fresh with rotting meat dripping off them, Timmy was shaking with fear : they were human bones. THUD ! something had thudded behind him and started ripping at him. Timmy was trying to get free but it was too late, he took his last breath - while staring at the monsters its mouth covered in his blood, dripping onto his face ....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For there was no treasure in there, the pirate had been luring people there to be killed by his pet , so he could nick ALL of there items. Including Timmy's rune sword ... :twisted:

It was a nice short read and had a very clear moral. Using more descriptive words could help the story a lot.
