what to range with?

im gonna start doing rangig to raise it from my pitiful 16 to over 40 like the rest of my f2p skills

 

 

 

now what is best to use?

 

arrows?

 

darts?

 

throwing knives?

 

javelins?

 

any other things?

 

not a cannon ...

Arrows, use iron, there cheapest to make, or buy..price, not sure, I made mine. Darts are ok, if killing something higher, try and get mith, or if u can make, then mith is good. Throwing knifes are the fastest way to gain range lvls, make steal or iron if u have enough fordging rings, and just find one monster in which u can hide behind somehting non stop. Javies, EWWW NOT GOOD AT ALL, there very slow, and too expensive. Cannons are o..k.. if you have the ores and time to make cannon balls that are gone the first time tehy hit somthing. They are better right in the lvls of 45-60, after that, they are just too slow, I went from 55 to 70 all with iron knifes, killing bloob velds. But, just find somthign fairly easy, start with guards for all that needs be.

Use arrows(iron/bronze), train up to 50 with some kind of short bow, after 50 ranged get Mage Short, and then have fun. :)

 

 

 

Or you can try Knives, its quite fast exp.

WEll, iron knifes, (knifes in general) are members only, so if your not a member, your already SOL (s*** outa luck).

 

Then youll jusdt have to stick with buying iron arrows.

Otherwise, sry...lol, make them frm iron bars, or buy from players, or on runescape forums, they sell allot.
