barrows help....

i have been doing barrows for not too long, i have done like 3 trips... i was following the rune tip guide for side stepping. In that section of the guide, it says that the spots that were shown can be used to attack the melee brothers by ranging or maging them with out taking hits. Either the tip it people have posted pics of the wrong spots or Jagex has removed them. I even looked at my person and the people shown in the pictures. my person is in the exact same spot as the tip it people in the pictures, and so is the monster i was fighting (one of the melee brothers). but everytime i attack the brother with magic, my character runs upto him and attacks him, right infront of them.

the sidesteps are there to have a place to avoid being hit while you drink a pot or eat some food. it takes a bit of experience to get it right. Personally, i tend not to bother with them too much as i want to finish the fight as fast as possible to reduce the amount of prayer that I lose. In the crypts, there are no safe spots to take on the brothers. In the tunnels, there are a few safe spots that you can hide behind (i use these all the time against the melee brothers to save pray pots). You can also use the sidestep techniques around the doors and chest if needs be.

ya , tru, but i was just confused because the tip it people said on the site

 

"Safespots- There are spots in the tunnels that you can utilize to hide behind and mage or range the melee brothers without taking damage."

 

 

 

 

 

but ya, ill just attack them straight on.
