killing Dessous in Desert Treasure

Firstly, I have done a lot of searching to try to find a good way of doing this guy.

 

 

 

It seems that everyone has done him a different way, either using mage with melee pray or melee with mage pray, or sometimes even range pray as suggested by the tip.it guide. However, the only way that I manage not to get completely owned is by meleeing using whip, rune armour etc and using magic pray. However, I have managed to kill him down to no health a few times, and he simply regenerates all his hit points again. I keep going through food like mad, so I never have enough food to take him out twice.

 

 

 

Firstly, can anyone advise an effective way to kill him, and secondly, has anyone else experienced him regenerating his health back to maximum?

 

 

 

I tried to get a stake from the dude that I got it from in the vampire slayer quest, but I couldnt get it again.

 

 

 

any comments or suggestions are always appreciated.

I did that quest a while ago.

 

Be sure that you made everything to get the silver pot in order to weaken him.

 

 

 

What most people told me I should do was mage him with mage protect and run to the other side when he teleported. I found that this was highly uneffective and that I'd het hit like 2 times 20+ when he teleported before I could run. I decided to use melee portect and let him be next to me.

 

 

 

so equiment: chaos gloves if possible and runes for air bolt, if you dont have chaos gloves use Wind Wave.

 

Then use melee prayer, why? He hits 20+ with melee and pretty fast, while he only hits 5 with mage and pretty slow... About the regenerating, maybe it's because you take too long to kill him?

thanks for your answer. I gave up for a while, until i realised that although I went to entrana,I forgot to get the silver pot blessed when i was there. Oh well. Managed it this time using my melee + mage pray method, and got through it this time.
