May 4, 200620 yr as u can see in my stats that im not doing barrows now but for wen i do it i was just wondering is it my money maker or a bit of fun? stats: 70 atk 73 str 70 def 70 range 60 mage 55 slayer 48 paryer (but ill have 50 with nat alter pray) what i will be wearing Farseer helm mystic robe top myatic robe bottom mystic gloves mystic boots ring of life slayer staff ammy of glory obby cape Zammy book bolt racks (i was thinking taking karlis bow because you get the ammo from the chest shud i take it?) inventory: spade 1 law 5 air (for cammy tele) 400 mind 100 death ectophial rune platebody rune platelegs rune kite abby whip karlis bow (should i take or mage short with arrows?) black dhide body black dhide chaps 5 prayer potions 10 sharks (do i need sharks or can i use lobs? dont no me own strength lol) battle plan: melle brothers i will mage with magic dart karlis:mage him because i hear its better in lower lvl guide ahrim:range with karlis bow and bolt rack (should i do this or arrows and mage short oh and btw it will be addy arrows if i do use them) oh and btw if i hav 30 prayer points and i use a prayer pot how many points will be restored dont understand the table lol.oh and do i need to wear melle armour wen i kill guthans ? questions: should i take arrows and a mage short? or stick with karlis and bolt racks? y cant i mage/range the brother oppistite the sarcoughagous safely without prayer? since im using prayer y do i need to sidestep in the crypt? shud i take sharks or lobs?do i really need 5 prayer pots? ill edit if i have any more questions!

I mage karil too, as I find that I generally do quite a lot of damage with magic. I wear melee armour when fighting guthan as he can heal himself through your prayer. I think that a prayer pot restores about 17 or 18. I use a mage bow because the special is handy, and also because I dont own karil's crossbow! You cannot mage/range anyone over the sarchophagus - it's just designed that way. you dont need to sidestep in the crypt For my first few trips I'd take sharks until you are comfortable with how to do things. Also take 5 prayer pots - you probably wont need them, but it is good to be safe for your first run or so. I only use 2 or 3 doses now per run. Also having high prayer is VERY useful. Finally, to answer your question, barrows is definitely a good money maker. Even if you dont get a rare item, you can sell the bloods you get for 600 each, and you get enough minds and deaths to make up for the runes that you use in your magic dart (which you do want to have mage armour for) feel free to pm me if you have any other questions - there are also a lot of very good guides on this site too.
