People say i range them but how...do u just let them atttack you or is there a special safe spot?

they hardly hit... so i wouldnt worry too much, and you have to run over/close to them to make them fight

If you have 40+ defence and wearing dragon hide armour they wont hit you.

 

 

 

But i think there is a safespot, you can range across the water.

Just walk/run over, and put autoretaliate on.

 

Then, when the crab is dead, pick up your arrows and walk around again.

 

Bring dhide and your arrows/bow/knives/darts/etc.

 

If you are really worried, it won't hurt to bring some food, although it won't be needed.
