Help Me With My None Runescape Pixel, Please.

Well I tried pixel sigging a long time ago as I wanted to make money (which now can't be done), and I use to visit this board and browse a lot, however I didn't really post. I was amazed by some pixel signature, started to look here the other day and felt like doing a pixel sig.

 

 

 

Started this today and I need some help, I havent got much so far but i've got the ideas.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now what I needed help with was the tree and shading (I can just about draw people). I wanted to add leaves above the branch hanging out and make the tree look like a tree. I've tried to add leaves and they looked real bad and I still havent mastered wood effects :oops:

 

 

 

May be some one could give me a sample wood effect of a tree, or an example of leaves and how to draw them?
