It's a given It will take a while to raise your mining level, but I never imagined it would take so long to get to level 60! Are there any tips/tricks to mining quicker or leveling up quicker?

Go to al kharid and go to the 3 iron rocks then stand between em and mine them 1 by 1. When you have 28 iron ores in your inv. first yell FREE IRON ORES or just drop em. Some dude might wanna have em so there's no problem.

In other words, just power mine the iron ore until you have mining 60, I power mined in Fally but it does'nt matter where really.

Actually N0valyfe gives a tip on his website. he says that you can mine granite almost as quickly are iron but for twice the xp. Good for powermining apparently. Never tried it but I'll just put it out there :)
