Code_Lyoko
Well my comp has a cd burner, and I havent used it in 4 years, decided it was time to use it. Friend sent me Nero 6 (thx meangunz :$ ). But i bought these Philips DVD + R 16x speed, and my drive wont read em This is my burner or drive or w/e its called Model: Samsung SM-352B 52/24/52/16 CD-RW/DVD-ROM Manufacturer: Samsung Electronics Provided By: Samsung Electronics America Theres more info and a picture here http://www.cdrlabs.com/reviews/index.php?reviewid=191 When it comes to electronics, Samsung is one of the most respected names in the industry. Founded in 1969, this Korean company has grown into one of the world's largest electronics manufacturers. Today, Samsung's product lineup includes everything from tiny semiconductors to huge projection televisions. Somewhere in between is Samsung's optical storage division. Best known for their high performance combo drives, their product line also includes a number of CD-RW, CD-ROM and DVD-ROM drives. This winter, we took a look at Samsung's 48/24/48/16 combo drive, the SM-348B. While other combo drives have performed relatively well, very few have impressed us like this one. With its 48x CD reading and writing and 24x rewriting speeds, the SM-348B delivered performance on par with some of the fastest CD-RW drives available at the time. Needless to say, Samsung's engineers didn't sit back and enjoy their success for long. This February they announced that they had a new combo drive in the works with even faster reading and writing speeds. The SM-352B reads and writes at 52x, rewrites at 24x and can read DVD's at speeds up to 16x. The SM-352B also includes features like an 8MB buffer, Super Link buffer underrun protection and support for the Mt. Rainier format. To top it off, Samsung has included one of the most popular CD burning suites available. With specs like this, it's hard not to be impressed by the SM-352B. If you're like us though, you'll want to know if Samsung's new combo drive has the real world performance to match. To give you an idea of what to expect from the SM-352B we'll take a look at some of its features and see how it performs. Does Samsung have another award winner here? Keep reading to find out. I dont know why it wont read it, I even put it inside my dvd drive to see if it worked but it wont read it. According to this info, it should be able to handle 16x speed dvd+r but it doesn't. Please help, I'll appriciate it alot.

I have a similar model that plays DVDs and Reads/Writes/Rewrites CDs, but does not write to DVD. - - My deviantART Page - -

TheLeader
I was going to say, if you have iTunes, it will stop nero working properly so may try and *delete* your burner.
