evil_angel
Start off by heading to the Dorgeshuun mines under Lumbridge. Near the basement of Lumbridge castle, speak to the goblin Kazgar and he will take you to the end. Once there, speak to Mistag. After talking to him you will learn that he knows about HAM and wants you to protect the goblins. Obtain two sets of HAM robes and meet his agent, Zanik, in the castle basement. Zanik will take one set from you after you've finished talking. Put on the other set and tell Zanik to follow you. Go outside the castle and you'll see a cutscene. After the cutscene is over you will need to give Zanik a tour of Lumbridge. First, go to the general store. Talk to the shop owner and Zanik will buy a souvenir. Next, Zanik will want to meet the people of Lumbridge. Talk to all of the Lumbridge advisors. These include Donie, Hans, Cook, Bob, a Man, and the Lumbridge Guide. Now Zanik will want to meet the Duke of Lumbridge. Speak to Horacio upstairs in Lumbridge Castle. Finally, she will also want to see the church in front of the castle. Speak to Father Aereck there. After you've finished the Lumbridge tour, you can ask about the scar. It will show a cutscene at the Tears of Guthix. When that is over, go to the HAM lair. Talk to a HAM guard to hear about the plan Sigmund and the HAM leaders have. Next, head over to the stage and listen to the speech. After that, go talk to Johanhus Ulsbrecht, the leader. Ask him about the Cave goblin attack. Now Zanik will want to check the main area again. Walk to the southeastern corner and Zanik will see a hidden trapdoor. Go to it and pick-lock it. You'll enter a maze with guards. To get past the first guard, walk to the west side of him. Zanik will be able to kill him using her crossbow. To kill the second guard, squeeze through the crack in the south wall. Pick-lock the door and talk to the guard while standing to the north of him. Zanik will then be able to shoot him. The third guard is easy. Click the 'now!' option after the guard turns east. The fourth guard requires some strategy. Set up Zanik in the middle path and then walk out in front of the guard to lure him. Make sure you are about two squares to the south of where Zanik will shoot him or you will be caught. If you are caught you will be sent to the jail. Zanik will get you out but you will have to start again. Finally, set up Zanik to the west (or east) of the fifth guard and then go get seen to the east (or west). Zanik will kill the final guard. Now go listen at the large double doors. During a small cutscene Zanik will begin telling you about their evil plans involving a machine, but before she is finished you will get caught. You will then wake up without Zanik. Go Speak to Johanhus to hear what happened to her. Next go speak to another HAM member and then leave the cave. Near the trapdoor you will find Zanik. Inspect her and you'll find out that although she is dead, her scar is glowing. Go speak to Juna, the story snake, at the Tears of Guthix (For a route, see the Tears of Guthix quest guide). Juna will say she can revive Zanik if you bring her twenty tears. Please note that this doesn't count towards your personal clock! Once Juna has revived Zanik she will tell her about her destiny. Zanik will then finish telling you about the HAM plot to wash away the Dorgeshuun with the River Lum. Now you need to go to the Lumbridge water mill. If you choose to teleport, you will have to go get Zanik in the Lumbridge Castle basement. The water mill is also known as the Chicken farm. Just outside the farm is a trapdoor. Try to enter it and you will be stopped by a dwarf. Search the empty crates to the south and Zanik will jump in. Now you will be able to enter. Head west and you will get attacked by 3 HAM guards and Sigmund, who will use Protect from Melee. When Zanik attacks him, he will switch to Protect from Ranged. When you've beaten them, smash the machine and go to the south of the mines. Congratulations!
