June 23, 200620 yr Kill monsters, and they will sometimes drop herbs. You'll need to identify them and have the required levels for certain herbs. Chaos druids are one of the best low level monsters that drop herbs. Aberrant Specters also drop lots of good herbs, including guams. Not all the herbs you get will be gaums though. Most of them will, as guams are the lowest level herb. BTW you need to finish Druidic Ritual quest to do herblore.

June 24, 200620 yr after finishing elemental workshop, you can gain access to the water elementals. they drop vails of water, and lots of herbs and runes. another good place are chaos druids, im not sure if its druids or chaos druids. they're the lvl 13 ones and a lot of people go to the brimhaven duengeons to find them. tehy drop vials, herbs and sometimes secondary ingredients. Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)
June 24, 200620 yr kill choas druids in traverly doungeon and ull get a boat load of them [/bads]You get 750000gp from alching a Bandos Godsword. I know from experience.
