Im a lvl 33 pure and have begun working on magic(22) and range(26).

 

 

 

 

 

Does the spell bind stop an enemy from ranged/melee attacks? If so then im gonna be using this a lot! 8-)

 

 

 

 

 

Whats should I wear when melee/mage? I have no idea.

Bind only stops the target from walking/running for a short while. It has no effect on their ability to attack if you're close enough.

Oh well. It'd still be a good finishing blow. Just bind, back away, and mage em 8-)

 

 

 

Now whats a good outfit??

I'm not sure. Mystic, maybe?

 

 

 

Either way, that would still only be effective against melee opponents. Opponents using (or capable of using at the time) mage or range will be able to hit you back no matter where you mage them from.

Hat: Gnome

 

Top: Wizard's Robe or Zamorak Robe Top

 

Bottom: Zamorak Robe Bottom

 

Shield: None

 

Gloves: None

 

Ring: Doesn't Matter

 

Boots: Wizard's Boots (if you can afford)

 

 

 

As for staff: Mud Battlestaff if you can afford it, any air staff you can get if you can't.

 

 

 

Inventory if Using Mud: Body Runes for Bind; Mind and Air Runes for Earth Strike; Food

 

Inventory if Using Air: Body, Water, and Earth Runes for Bind; Chaos Runes for Wind Bolt; Food

 

 

 

Also, lets not forget about the amulet. Depending on what you can afford, you have a choice between Amulet of Magic, Unholy Symbol, Amulet of Power, Amulet of Glory, or Amulet of Fury.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

EDIT: Mud Runes can be substituded for Water and Earth Runes for the second inventory possibility.

Well at 1 Defence the best armour you could wear is Iron.

 

 

 

So you could either include Full Iron and your Adamantite Scimitar to those inventories and switch as needed, or replace the staff suggestion with the Adamantite Scimitar.

 

 

 

In the end, though, it's really a matter of personal taste. No one can tell you what's best suited to you. In fact, I suggest you pay the Knowlege Base a visit and make some decisions for yourself.
