My tips for making a def pure:

 

 

 

Train on chickens to start, as they can't actually hit you. Collect all feathers. When you have about 2k feathers, sell for 10ea using forums. Now start buying feathers for 1-3gp each from fellow chicken killers, and sell when you run out of money. It helps to have a perm buyer. This is the way you will make money for full mith, then addy and rune.

 

Buy mith at 20 def. It is worth staying at chickens until 30 def, just to raise funds. Also buy a power ammy with your mith armour, it helps a lot for attack bonus, as you can only use iron. With 30 def and addy armour, go to the monks. Hit them once and sit back until you have 40 def :wink: They heal themselves, and they can't hit you enough to be a problem, so its a neverending fight. Watch for random events (dwarf seems to appear a lot), and read tip.it forums to pass the time. That's basically all there is to it. You could carry on killing chickens all the way for the money, but its tedious clicking so much.

 

I went one step further and merchanted lobsters to raise money for a sara kite to go with my rune set.

 

Also note that for pictures, air staff looks a lot better than your iron weapon.

 

It is almost impossible to hit 2. Str pots alone don't help. Potentially you could use a pot and str ammy with iron 2h and hit 2, but not worth the trouble. I used an iron scimmy all the way.

 

 

 

The most important thing is not to accidentally lvl attack when you forget to switch logging on. Otherwise you won't be lvl 17 when you get your rune.

 

 

 

And yes it's really annoying that people don't understand the point of a def pure. Countless people asked my lvl 15 in addy for a fight, or suggested that I should pk in my rune, which would be pointless with the iron scimmy as a weapon.

 

 

 

By the way, I found it was easier to get deals with a girl character. I forgot why I made it a girl in the first place, but I didn't bother changing.

 

 

 

Also, I have no plans of making it a member account, or training anything further. I just don't want to.

well i fugure u might wanna train atk or str.. but idk.. i mean its good to have def but to hit nothing but 1s

ive come to the conclusion to either keep it as a def pure, my other idea was to make it a tank-lvl 51 with 40 def, 60 mage, 40 range, 48hp... but really, i already am wasting enough pointless time on my iron pure, so why spend any more time on another one, ill never get any where with socca at this rate, so im going to keep this as a goal, get full rune [rune chain supsitutes pl8] on it somehow :? and leave it as is, like i did with Tad The Monk, logging in every so often just to get some ooh's and ah's

 

Maybe in the future i will find some reason with it, but that wont probably be until i get all f2p stats to 99 on socca and 99 attk, str, and hp on i was lvl 1... but until then (and htat probably wont ever happen anyway) this account will only have lvl 40 def and be as is

If you want my opinion, it is worth it to get level 10 attack. You hit nearly twice as much, and youll only have 2 extra combat levels.

goodluck, but anime thats not a tanker lol. a tanker has 99 def and range or mage or both.

well, i went camping for like 10-11 days, so i've been unable to bump this, but now i am back and i've added my newest skill update :

 

around 10k exp til 40 def, thats like 357 men to kill, and to give an idea- about 5.5 hours of continuous playing (i might not have calculated that right, but geesh, its the summer, no need to think anymore \ )

wc= no, i have my other account, Zantareous, for that, but ive retired him since i was wasting time on him when that is one of my favorite things to do on socca.

 

red phat= no, hallowing masks own phats 8-)

 

members= Absolute no! if i was able to pay $5 a month (which im not able to) i would use the money on socca, not a pointless noob just so i can walk around runescape getting some ooh's and ah's
