so i was wondering i know that the demon butler charges 10k per 10 trips to the bank or saw mill. but what i never sent him to the bank or mill? cause i dont mind doing that myself. so if i just use him to make food and tea and stuff would i never have to pay him?

You have to pay your servant, regardless. I've had instances where I let my servant do absolutely nothing since my last payment for a while. Then I would talk to him to have him do something, and before he actually completes the task he charged his fee (had him making tea...had to pay before he would hand it over).
