Buying a laptop

Hi, I'm decided on which laptop to buy and that but I have two small questions I was hoping someone could answer.

1. Will changin the rocessor speed from 1.66GHz to 1.83 GHz make a large difference to pperformance.

2. Here

Could you go to that link and at the bottom look at the ports listed and tell me if there is a port which would fit an rj-45 ethernet cable in. Yes I know I'm a noob. :)

EDIT 3. Also, is it possible to put PCI cards into a laptop, I think it is but not sure. Thanks again :) and I fixed the link too.

Thanks guys I love you.

1.) It is worth spending that extra cash.

2.) It is not possible but go ahead and get the optional graphics upgrade "

Optional:

17 inch UltraSharpTM Wide Screen UXGA with TrueLifeTM

256MB NVIDIA̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâî GeForceTM Go7900 GS "

1. It all depends on what your intending to use it for. If its just basic word processing, music and such, the 1.66GHz processor should do fine. You probably wouldnt notice much of a difference between the two anyway, so you might as well just take the cheaper route.

2. I dont get 2, what are you asking me to do?

3. No, PCI cards designed for use in towers will NOT work with laptops because laptops dont have expandable PCI slots in it.

And yes, the laptop does have an ethernet port on it, so you dont have to worry about that :)

That was two ^_^

And to number 3 you said that you could not use PCI cards designed for use in towers, does this mean that you can buy PCI cards designed for laptops then? It is kind of irrelevent now though because you told me there was an ethernet port, but I'm just interested.

Thanks to both of you :)
