After not recording something for almost a year, I've started up Camtasia earlier today, it records fine, but when I've finished recording something, F10 to end it, it doesn't play it back, it gives the screen with option to Save or Delete while it playsback, but it doesn't, when I hit save, it saves, but when you try edit it for recording, it says:

 

 

 

Error: No codec available to render this file (TSCRec://c:\documents and settings\josh\desktop\fs.camrec!Screen_Stream.avi).

 

 

 

Any ideas any of you on how to fix this? I tried the TechSmith Screen Capture Codec (TSCC) from the TechSmith.com website (creators of Camtasia) and it didn't do anything to help.

By the way, I have also tried uninstalling Camtasia Studio and doing a brand new fresh install, still doesn't work.

Finally fixed it after a visit to TechSmith Support Centre.
