i'm thinking about doing some serious crafting and i was wondering the best place to mine and bank gold ore...im only a member for 4 more days so it would be nice to know the best f2p place as well as the best p2p place to mine gold...

If you have done the Rock and a Hard place quest then he mine you accessed in that quest is absolutely the best p2p location. Take a ring of Charos(u) and the boatman will take away and bank you gold for 3 ores a time.

If you wanted only experience, I would say the 9 or so gold rocks on karamja.

 

But seeing as how you want to craft, the crafting guild would be the best spot that I have used.

 

Use the agility shortcut on the south wall of falador to bank your ores.

i havnt done that quest and i dunno if its worth it seeing i'm leaving members soon :cry:
