I've been trying to find Bob the Jagex cat for tail of two cats, but I'm really confused because my amulet is still pointing north and I'm at the deepest part of the wilderness. What am I supposed to do, because I don't think there's anything more north and my amulet hasn't changed direction at all even wandering around up there.

Your not working well your amulet.

 

 

 

You need to change the pointer by touching his mustache.

 

Move the pointer until it turn on. And that is the direction you must take.
