problem with regicide

 

i cant get my coal oil to distil any ideas on what im doing wrong

I used the tip.it quest guide on that part, and I suggest you do the same. Make sure you continuously add coal so the heat builds up, and if you run out, you can go up the mine west of fally near the dark wizards tower to quickly get some more.
