ammie Posted August 3, 2006 Share Posted August 3, 2006 I'm getting really frustrated with this quest, I had the tree spirit down to half health and then it vanished, then I was taken off to ScapeRune in the middle of my second try to kill the Tree Spirit, THEN I only had to hit the tree spirit once more to kill it and it vanished again! rft Posted August 3, 2006 Share Posted August 3, 2006 it might be because you took too long to kill it. that's really harsh getting a random in the middle of a quest boss fight. you'll have to start again from scratch killing it, so you'll need to stick up on those arrows again. standing behind those mushrooms/fungi is quite ok by the way. you should not be too far away to kill it.
