Yes, it does have it's use for npc's that you can easily hit, but that's it...I mean I wouldn't use this for range stakes, fighting the kq and certainly not pking. It's just one of those things that makes you wonder why people use it. Sure the bone bolts do hurt a bit, but I'm personally not crazy about the full bar specs...only one that's halfway decent that takes half bar to a full bar is the d baxe, and the MSB spec...and if you ask me the MSB spec is going to be out of date by high lvl lunar mages with excellent ranging.

Magic Shortbow

Imo dorgushen bow is one of THE best kept secrets in the game,i can hit 12s with bone bolts at 71 range on my pure which is pretty much the equivilent of addy arrows,its pretty fast(around msb speed) and with a zammy book gives around same range bonus as msb and it looks really cool to attack with,the spec may be slightly useless but you can just keep a dozen rune arrows and a msb in your invent for special attacks.And to all those complaining about quests ive done desert treasure and monkey madness on my pure with lvl 31 pray and lvl 1 defence without any help from anyone(entangle ftw!)and while it was fairly hard,it didnt take me more than a day for mm and 2 days for dt.
