Growing Ranarrs

Ok, I have recently begun growing ranarrs for profit. Let me start by saying that I use both magic secatuers and supercompost. When I started growing ranarrs my friend said he got 7 or 8 per seed. Well the first batch of 3 I planted yielded me 25 seeds. This seemed average by what my friend had but then things changed. The next 12 seeds I planted yielded me only 77 ranarrs. Now as I plant I usually see one of my seeds die and only yield like 5 or 6 or sometimes 7 ranarrs per seed. What is going wrong?? BTW my farming level is 38.

Sorry to say this, but it is random. You are already doing the best that you can to increase yield and survivability. After farming nearly 1k ranarrs I would say that the average for me so far is around 6.5 ranarrs per seed including deaths. I have 73 farming btw.

 

 

 

 

 

So, just go out and chop a furry hopping thing's feet off and get some better luck. You are already doing everything that you can (short of babysitting them or using a nature ammy; both which decrease deaths not increase yields) so just grow some luck instead of ranarrs, first.
