Starting To start off with this Quest, get to Brimhaven Docks and speak to Old Fineas, a retired captain sitting on the Brimhaven Docks. Ask him to tell a story, and he will tell you about Lady Moonie, a majestic ship filled with treasures belonging to the Royal Family of Kandarin. Fineas will also tell you that a long time ago, the king of Kandarin wanted more valuables from distant lands. The ship was set sail from Ardougne to the Kharidian Desert, where there were many treasures to be found. The ship never arrived to it's destiny, and it probably sunk somewhere. But no'one alive knows anything about it. You will be exited about it, and want to dive after it. Fineas will laugh at you, and say that the sea is too big, too deep, and way too mysterious for any such thing. And besides, it happened so long ago, and no'one knows what could have happened with the ship. Under the sea Speak to Murphy in Port Khazard, and tell him that you would be interested in diving more, but this time in a different location than the Mogres. Make sure that you have your diving gear drom Recipe for Disaster, and that you are carrying less than 27 kg. You will set sail with your boat, but this time travelling a bit more north than the Mogre area. When you are ready, begin to dive, and you will come to a large, lifeless place with no plants (only rocks). Explore a little further and you will come to a small underwater city, with glowing shells as their light source, populated by mermaid-looking creatures. Ask them (anyone) about what's wrong. You will find out that the little town is running out of food. You will find out that all of a sudden the kelp died, and that if they don't get the kelp soon, everyone in the town is going to die! There are kelp growing near the mogre's, but the townspeople are very afraid of the Mogres. You can also ask about any sunken ships nearby, but they will be upset and ask "how anyone can think about such things when they all might die". In this town, however, there are a few tasks that the people could need a helping hand with. 1) Nerie - Nerie has accidentally torn her curtains. Agree to fix them. Take the curtains to Treidon the Tailor, who will repair the curtains for a fee of 100 gp. Take the curtains back to Nerie, who will give you a Tiny old key made out of bronze she found somewhere. 2) Octaron - Octaron wants a fence around his precious garden. He has already done 3 of the four sides (assuming that his house wall is one side) but the remaining side is undone. Agree to help him. For this task you will need 8 regular planks. Take 6 of these planks to the Sawmill found just North-East of Varrock. Tell him that you want to build a fence with them. The Sawmill will make the planks shorter, which means that you will get 12 Short planks. Hammer the planks (12 short planks, 2 regular planks) with 24 nails (any kind) and you will get a loose fence. Get back underwater, and simply put the loose fence on it's place. Octaron will give you another tiny key this time made out of silver that might come in handy somewhere. 3) Venerite - Venerite wants a pearl to show up in her room. Simply give her one, or go fishing oysters. Venerite will take the pearl from the Oyster shell, and give you a Tiny Key made of gold for your effort. 4) Serinte - Serinte would also like an artefact, but she is tired of "underwater-things". What she would like, is something nice looking from the world above water. Well, luckily there is one antiques seller in the world above water - Yanni Salika in Shilo Village. Get there, and ask if Yanni has any antiques you could use underwater for sale. Yanni will show you an ancient vase made of gold. Yanni wouldn't want to give it away just like that, but he could trade it for some gems. Get Yanni 2 cut sapphires, 2 cut emeralds, 2 cut rubies, and 1 cut diamond, and Yanni will give you the vase. Get the vase to Serinte, who will give you a Glowing Shell. After you have helped all these four people, talk to any villager again, and ask about a sunken ship. They will tell you to go to Vaquar the Elder, found in the Town. Vaquar the Elder, and the Sunken ship Talk to Vaquar the Elder, found in his house in the town. Vaquar will tell you about a great ship that sunk a very long time ago, a small distance away from the Town. Vaquar will tell you, that he saw all the treasures until Romedy, an octopus-like large creature that has claws as big as a human on the end on each "arm", took them all, and hid them in his cove. Romedy is so big, that no man can beat him in combat with any weapon. Vaquar the Elder will tell you to speak to Palykra, a young, brave adventurer that can lead you to the ship. Speak to Palykra, who will take you to the old, sunken ship. It sure looks like a scary ghost ship, and you are free to explore it. On the bottom of the ship, you will find a small chest. Pick the chest up, and try to open it. The chest will be locked, and should be taken to Vaquar the Elder. Go away from the ship, and talk to Palykra to take you back to the small town. Go to Vaquar the Elder, and show him the small chest. He will tell you that the small chest must be one of the treasure chests, that the ship was carrying, but for some reason it was not taken by Romedy. However, the small chest has three locks, and each one needs three different keys to work. Lucky thing you have three tiny keys made of bronze, silver and gold! Use the keys on the chest, and it will be unlocked! Inside, you will found a wee treasure chest, and a small note that will say: "To the one that wants to open this chest so wee, A key have been hidden to open it for thee" Go a little south of the town, and you will find a small cave. Before you go in, make sure you have the glowing shell with you!. No candle or lantern will work underwater, obviously, so you will need a glowing shell. If you don't have the shell, underwater insects will come for you, just as in Lumbridge Cave for example, these little insects will hit harder though. Enter the cave, and search the cave rocks. You will find a very tiny key. Get out of the cave, and open the wee chest with the key. Inside you will find 1000 coins and a cut diamond. Get back to the town. When you enter the town you will see a cutscene. Someone is shouting "Help!" in the distance, and the people will be frightened. Ask any villager about what happened, and they will tell you that Orrian, a young lad, has been kidnapped by Romedy. Romedy will not give Orrian back, until every person in the town has left, leaving all the valuables there. Romedy Talk to Palykra again, and ask him where Romedy's cave is. Palykra says he knows where Romedy's cave is, but is way too scared to take you there. Beg him to go, and he will refuse. Say that Orrian will never come back if Palykra doesn't agree to help. Palykra will agree to take you near the cave. Suddenly Palykra will tell you that he has an idea. He will point to a gigantic rock as big as a house, which is above the cavern. He will tell you that if Romedy would stand right under it, the rock could kill him, as it is as big as Romedy himself. However, the rock is too big to be pushed with just human power. Palykra will tell you that very powerful magic could do the trick. Palykra will ask you if you know any mage that would know more about these things. You will think of Zavistic Rarve in the Magic Guild. Palykra will take you away from the cave, and take you back when you have a magic spell powerful enough. Speak to Zavistic Rarve in the Magic's Guild. Ask him what spell would be powerful enough to move a rock as big as a house underwater. Zavistic will tell you that only wave spells would be powerful enough for that, and that underwater only earth spells would be powerful. Your spell will be Earth Wave! Zavistic Rarve will say that you can't cast Earth Wave underwater with your bare hands, and that you will need a tablet to throw on the rock. When thrown the Earth Wave's effect will work on the rock. Simply take the runes for Earth Wave to Zavistic, and he will make you a tablet (70 magic required for you). Speak to Palykra again, and tell him that you have everything ready for the magic. Palykra will try to get Romedy out of his cave. Palykra will shout for Romedy, who will appear just outside his cave. When you see him outside the cave, use the Earth Wave Tablet on the rock. The rock will fall on Romedy, who will get killed under the rock. However, the rock blocks the entrance, and cannot be removed. Any similar spell would cause the cave to collapse, and Orrian could get killed in there! Orrian and the teasures Ask Palykra if there are any other entrances to the cave. He will tell you that there is a small rock blocking a cave a small distance from here. The cave could possibly lead to Romedy's place. Palykra will take you to the smaller cave. If you have 60 strength, you can lift the rock away from the entrance. Swim inside. You will see a cutscene. In the cutscene, you will find Orrian, among all the lost treasures from the sunken ship! You will carry the treasures to the town with the help of all villagers. In one chest you will find a lot of kelp seeds! The town people don't have to go hungry anymore! When the cutscene ends, you will be asked to grow the kelp seeds. Take the kelp seeds, and plant them in a farming patch found in the town. You don't need any farming materials, just plant them in the patch, wait a few minutes, and you have succesfully grown some kelp! Speak to the Mayor of the town, and he will give you a chest from the ship as a reward for your help. Soon the kelp will be growing all over the place, so no'one needs to starve! the_trinity_11
Well thought out, most people are probably too lazy to read it though. And, in my opinion the rewards are far too low for those requirments. PLAY this awesome game...Clicky
