What exactly is lag???

No, I'm not a noob I just want to know more.

lag is simply that its lag. it doesnt stand for anything. if you are playing and it takes a second for the command you clicked to take affect, or if your running and you stop and then appear somewhere else, or if you type text and it appears a couple secs after you posted. these are all forms of lag

Latency is the propper name for lag. It's basically the time of how long it takes information to be sent. Obviously the better connection, the less lag.

 

 

 

It also happens when there are lots of people doing something at once.

i thought u had some like programmed reader that when u got on runescape website, it detected it and chaned ur sig to say online.
