Stoop111
The xBox is all set up and has everything it needs according to the microsoft tech. The router is an airport express by Apple. ------------------------------------------------ The wireless adapter is constantly red on my xbox and when I go to the dashboard to test the connection it says the wireless adapter isn't connected. Nothing else happens because of that, as in no other info comes up. ----------------------------------------------- I have also connected the wire between the modem and the xbox, when I did that it got the connection but no IP adress and then nothing else happened from there on. ----------------------------------------------- I hope this has all made sense Please give advice on how to connect to live. BTW I'm not very tech savvy so try to keep the geek (pardon me, couldnt think of anything else) language to a minimum. Thanks a ton. Isn't it lovely how having an opinion makes you hated around here? WutangFlu
sounds like a hardware problem... play with the adapter and see if it works in dif. USB slots on the 360? try this too.. *with 360 turned off -plug in adapter, turn on do the same thing again if it doesnt work, this time have it on already. Stoop111
I have tried all the USB ports and all the combos of on and off. Isn't it lovely how having an opinion makes you hated around here?
Guest XplsvBam
Alot of the time you just need to turn this kind of thing on. On speaker amplifiers and such there is a remote that you have to turn on before it works even though everything is connected and you have power to the amp/speakers. Just because the light is on dosn't mean its 'on'. Since I'm not familier with the 360 my best guess is to look around in the settings for an 'on' switch.
